A Pea Worthy Cookbook Giveaway

Hey all!

Remember May, when I was all stressed out about moving, but took comfort in dinner with my friend Sarah (aka Mama Pea)? You may remember how our friendship inspired me to bake these vegan fig bars, which remain among my proudest baking accomplishments:

Now Sarah’s inspiring me again, with the triumphant and fun-filled publication of her cookbook, Peas and Thank You. It’s a fantastic resource for Moms who are trying to help their families transition into more heavily plant based diets, and it’s filled with fun tips for the home cook (pea points) as well as the intimate stories and images of family life that make Sarah’s blog so touching and fun to read.

The book is also full of mouth-watering photos, which happen to have been taken by another dear friend: Ms. Ashley.

  3. I would reallly love to own this cookbook. It would be great to share the recipes with my own friends and family that think vegetarian cooking is “weird” and not as filling as animal-based cooking. I love the fact that one of my favorite bloggers now has a book. I’d love to add it to my collection.

  4. I would love this book because I recently became a vegetarian, though I eat mostly vegan foods. I’m trying to get my family to eat more vegetarian fare and try new things, so this book would really help me out!

  9. Peas and Thank You is one of my favorite blogs! Many of the recipies, such as the spicy chick pea stew, are my go tos. My carnivor spouse enjoys recipeas. Curious friends at work have been ‘sampling’ my lunches are beginning to join the vegan movement because of Peas recipeas!

I am ALWAYS looking for good vegetarian/vegan/raw cookbooks. I have been a vegetarian for about 5 years and am always looking for new and exciting recipes. Most of my family is from North Carolina so I am used to eating LOTS of unhealthy food! I check your blog everday for inspiration and have completely turned my eating style around.

Now that I have a 7 month old, I am even more motivated to eat healthier and if this cookbook offers solutions for quick and easy meals, it’s for me! I work 9 hours a day and REALLY need more good, quick recipes under my belt. My husband and I want to teach our son healthy habits from the very start so we definitely look to people like you for ideas.

Thanks for doing what you do!
