  1. Mmm, a spread like that would be heaven! In case you don’t know, one of the best places in DC to view fireworks but avoid the insane crowds is up 18th St & California. And if you walk 6-7 blocks north of there, you can check out Amsterdam Falafelshop! Ah, I so miss DC, especially in summertime!

  2. I made your millet/kale burgers a while back and while they were pretty yummy-they took forever to make! There were so many steps, but I guess practice will make it easier.

  3. all recipes look amazing.
    one question
what is nooch (in the tofu burger recipe)
    thanks
    Ruth

  4. Hey Gena, making your fig bars right now and I noticed the ingredients say baking soda but the instructions say powder. I’m going with soda and hoping it works!

Zesty Orange Cashew Cheese & the Jicama slaw (last recipe)…totally forgot about those and wanted to make them way back when, thanks for the reminder.

Hope you are having a wonderful holiday! First one in the nation’s capital for you…fun! 🙂

  6. All of those things look amazing. You have created some really awesome stuff over the years Lady! I am going to be making vegan blueberry pancakes with a raw strawberry coolies!

  7. For the sesame noodles, do you use minced ginger or ginger powder? It sounds like a great recipe to make for my fiancee’s parents when we visit them next week!
