    Yum! This vegan crunchy cabbage chick’n salad hi Yum! This vegan crunchy cabbage chick’n salad hit the spot for lunch yesterday. Here’s how to make it 👇
〰️
3 heaping cups shredded Napa cabbage
3 heaping cups shredded red cabbage
3 heaping cups peeled and shredded carrots
1 1/2 cups snow peas, steamed for 2-3 minutes then cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup mandarin orange sections
1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 T chopped green onions
2 T avocado oil
2-3 T unseasoned rice vinegar
1 T tamari
2 t maple syrup
1 t toasted sesame oil
1 clove garlic, grated on a microplane
2 teaspoons minced or grated fresh ginger
4 servings @daringfoods original, heated in a pan till ready to eat (or another vegan chick’n of choice)

1️⃣ Mix the veggies, mandarin orange, almonds, and green onion in a large mixing bowl.
2️⃣ Whisk together the oil, vinegar, tamari, maple syrup, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Pour the dressing over the salad. Mix well.
3️⃣ Divide the salad into bowls. Top each with a heated serving of your chick’n. Dig in!

    Red cabbage apple slaw with tahini 💜 Nothing be Red cabbage apple slaw with tahini 💜 Nothing beats a crispy, crunchy little slaw! And this is the time of year in which I start craving a lot of color and crunch to offset the gray and cold of winter. I love this mixture because it’s sweet, a little bitter, a little tart, and even a little earthy. Plus the tahini- based dressing is a nice and different alternative to vinaigrette or mayo.     The best, lightest, and 💯 crispiest vegan candi The best, lightest, and 💯 crispiest vegan candied pecans!! I didn’t think that candied nuts were one of my favorite things until I made these before the holidays—and then couldn’t stop making them. All of my homemade candied nut trials in the past resulted in nuts that tasted good but didn’t have that uber-crispy, crunchy texture. Many resulted in nuts that were kinda sticky, even gluey (womp womp).
