Hi friends. I’m taking a pause instead of getting weekend reading up tonight. No urgent reason, but I’ve had a lot of work to do today, and I’m feeling the need to wind down early. I’ve got something on my mind to write about, but doing so tonight would mean rushing, and it would give me less time to finish up my batch cooking, watch a little TV, maybe even pay a visit to my mom. These are things that my body and soul are asking for this evening.
So, I’ll be diving right into things with a scrumptious new dessert recipe tomorrow. Till then, be well.

Things are busy, but the end of this stretch is most definitely in sight. As I make my way through it,…
Good morning, everyone! I hope that you’ve all been enjoying a restful and sunny weekend. It has been a very domestic week here. Without class to rush off to, I’ve had the pleasure of interrupted time for work, and I’m savoring the opportunity to feel creative and immersed. It’s easy to disregard how important continuous stretches of time are for the creative process (whatever that may be–for me, it’s writing and recipe creation), but the past few days have reminded me that the…

I’m glad you’re taking care of yourself and making time for TV, mom, and cooking. <3
