A Pea Worthy Cookbook Giveaway

Hey all!

Remember May, when I was all stressed out about moving, but took comfort in dinner with my friend Sarah (aka Mama Pea)? You may remember how our friendship inspired me to bake these vegan fig bars, which remain among my proudest baking accomplishments:

Now Sarah’s inspiring me again, with the triumphant and fun-filled publication of her cookbook, Peas and Thank You. It’s a fantastic resource for Moms who are trying to help their families transition into more heavily plant based diets, and it’s filled with fun tips for the home cook (pea points) as well as the intimate stories and images of family life that make Sarah’s blog so touching and fun to read.

The book is also full of mouth-watering photos, which happen to have been taken by another dear friend: Ms. Ashley.

  1. I would really like to win the book because first and foremost, I love collecting and experimenting with various vegetarian/vegan/raw food recipes. The more interesting and unique the recipe, the more excited I get. My family is slowly moving into eating vegetarian meals and as with all of my cooking, I try to maintain loving thoughts and cooking is one of the ways I show love for my family and friends. I took a look at some of the pictures in the book that you have posted online and my mouth started watering, great photography as well, kudos to everyone who put it together. If I win, I know I will share what I cook from the book with family and friends which will probably help promote the book as well. This is just a small thing I can do to help the author as well as my family and friends and the planet. Also I really appreciate the opportunity to win the book.

  2. I am really excited to read this book! I’ve been following mama pea for a while and I can’t wait to have the recipes in one handy book.
